As a part of the Pacific 2020 Refresh (2020R) to “Build a Unified University”, a Policy Program will be established pursuant to the Policy on Policies (POP). 

The purpose of the university’s Policy Program is to make certain that through uniform rules, procedures and guidelines the university: 
          (i) complies with applicable laws, 
          (ii) adopts operational efficiencies and best ethical practices, and 
          (iii) promotes mission-centered values and objectives.  

The Policy Program will ensure that university policies are well developed, easy to understand, consistent with current policies and readily accessible to all constituencies.

Over the next several months, the Policy Program will be launched aligning policies and best practices, highlighting our identity and core values, guidelines surrounding new and substantive revisions of policies, updating and archiving policies in the Policy Library. Once the Policy on Policies has been approved, the university community will be notified.  Please click here to view the Policies Under Review and newly approved policies homepage.  

Faculty, staff and students are responsible for knowing, understanding, and complying with policies that relate to their position, employment or enrollment at the university.  Policies not yet posted in the Policy Library remain in full effect. If you have a question about university policies, please consult your supervisor.

Policies pertaining exclusively to faculty, such as policies concerning tenure and promotion, can be found in the Faculty Handbook.

Policies pertaining to all employees, including student workers, can be located in the in the Staff Handbook

In addition to the policies pertaining exclusively to students, which are found in the Tiger Lore Student Handbook, the website contains other Student Life policies that relate to students.
