Basic Formatting

Basic editing / formatting help

Use the following markup styles, trying to keep the formatting like other policies (use them as references).

Try to limit using the following markup styles:

Heading 1

Avoid this unless it is the start of a major section that is different than the original policy.

Heading 2 

This should be used for most stand-alone sections, or the start of sections that have major headings.

Heading 3

Use this for heading for sub-headings under heading (2) headers.

Paragraph Style

For inside oa paragraph, use the paragraph style.     

 

How do I change styles?

Select the text you wish to change styles, click on "Markup Styles" under the "Format Text" tab, and choose the style.

 

 

SharePoint has similar to formatting a document in Microsoft Word or any other document editing system.
