Morris Chapel Use Policy

Thank you for your interest in using Morris Chapel. Please read the policies below carefully. All clients sign and receive a copy of these when confirmation of booking is given.

RESERVATIONS:

Morris Chapel policy requires that one person involved in the event at the chapel sign this agreement. If the party is receiving the university discount the bride or groom must be a current student, staff, faculty member or alumni of the university or the parent of the bride or groom must be a current staff or faculty member of the university.

For weddings, the chapel rental fee provides you with one (1) hour of use on the day prior to your wedding (for rehearsal) and the number of hours selected in your package on the day of the ceremony (e.g. two and a half hours, three hours, three and a half hours, etc.). Any set up of decorations is to be done within the first hour of your allotted time on the day of ceremony. All decorations are to be taken down by someone you have designated by the end of your allotted time. Also, please note that Morris Chapel will seat a strict maximum of 300 individuals.

                                                                                                 ( ______ )

FEES:

All fees are to be paid by credit card, check, or cashier's check made out to Morris Chapel. The chapel does not accept cash for payment. A non-refundable retainer fee of $300.00 is due within 10 days of the date the reservation is booked, and this confirms your reservation (this retainer is applied towards the total amount owed). The balance is due 90 days from the date the first retainer was paid unless otherwise stated or in the case that individuals choose an approved payment plan.

If a reservation is made within 30 days of ceremony, total fees must be paid at booking.

A $50.00 late fee will apply if payments are not paid by the date stated on the confirmation. If a payment plan is chosen there will still be a final due date.
