Facility Renovation, Repair, And Maintenance


‚ÄčAll facility construction projects, whether new construction, renovation, or repair, are to be coordinated and directed by the Director of the Physical Plant.

‚ÄčThis policy ensures that any facility construction project is done according to University, City, and other applicable building standards.  In addition, it ensures that such work is done in a way that is compatible with the University's electrical, ventilation, plumbing and other important systems necessary for optimal facility operation.

Clarification

This does not mean that the work must be or will be done by the staff of the Physical Plant Department, but must be approved and coordinated by the Director of the Physical Plant.
